Exhibition of fossils from the clay-pit  from Egem, Belgium

The exhibition show unique fossils from the Eocene period (Ypersian)  from the clay-pit  Egem, Belgium, excavated, prepared, classified and documented by the NPO Lithos Harelbeke with scientific support of Prof. E. Steurbaut from the KBIN and collaboration of the quarry Owners and the municipal authorities of Pittem

The Exhibition  is permanently to be seen for free during the office opening time from  22 February 2008 onwards in the municipality  house
